Reading is my creative outlet, and when I was a kid I devoured the Tomorrow When the War Began series by John Marsden. That was such a great book series, but I was surprised to learn that writing has never become his full-time gig – today he works as a school Principal.

I was being a good wife and went along to the movies to see Wonder Woman (definitely not the worst comic book movie I’ve seen).
I think communication developments that are improving the lives of people with disability are really exciting. Making material accessible via audio files, screen-readers and closed captions are standard practices now and the possibilities for further technology improvements are great.
I really enjoy spending time in nature, and love a weekend away camping! I once spent a week walking the Larapinta Trail in Alice Springs – we slept in swags under the stars and cooked dinner over the campfire every night (take me back!).
