In an effort to maximise exposure around the Superbowl, the trend for brands to release their ads before the big day continues. They’re banking on seeing a lift in online searches and brand visibility prior to the game by giving audiences a sneak peek. So far, the majority of the spots are in the same vein as previous years – irreverent and humorous with plenty of celebs. But this year we’re seeing newer brands, such as Bumble, jump on trending topics like the importance of portraying women as strong, capable, first movers.
