Challenge

Signcraft has been a leading national signage solutions provider for over 45 years.

With a national footprint, Signcraft’s work has encompassed some of the most notable signage installations in Australia, including Marvel Stadium, Westpac corporate offices and branch locations, Woolworths, Adelaide’s Rundle Mall Lantern, Deakin University and the Fiona Stanley Hospital.

Signcraft’s gallery covers a wide array of industries – automotive, corporate, entertainment, route/fuel, government and hospitality are just a few. But because of this diversity, Signcraft’s sales team was struggling to catalogue its case studies in ways that made it easy and compelling to profile them while in discussions with prospective clients.

Solution

What began as a video content brief was reframed as a mobile selling tool containing all the references a sales person may need in order to complete a compelling presentation. The interactive sales tool we created enables the sales team to seamlessly navigate to the most relevant content and customise sales presentations to suit the specific customer need.

With video and other interactive content able to be updated centrally and remotely, the aid has supplanted much of the paper-based presentation kit Signcraft sales teams previously carried.

With a large volume of video content, our challenge was to develop a cost-effective content creation approach using a variety of shooting techniques to capture the signage in-situ, through guided virtual tours. We then embedded each video into the corresponding segment of the sales tool.

The resulting ‘living document’ can expand with the Signcraft client portfolio and can adapt to technology advances and presentation techniques when and as required..
