DDIY: No Grey Area

The original Don’t Do It Yourself campaign for Energy Safe Victoria was a resounding success.
But illegal DDIY work by home handymen remains a significant problem with injury and property loss being a surprisingly common occurrence.
With every death or injury from electrocution carrying such a tragic cost, the time was right to address a new generation of weekend warriors that now increasingly includes members of Victoria’s CALD community members.
In solving the problem, DPR&Co responded to research findings that our audience tended to blur the definition of DIY electrical work to rationalise behavioural creep and justify illegal work.
No Grey Areas was developed to address this ambiguity.
